Yikes!! How sad to see the pretty room gone. I bet you never thought of putting dear heads on your walls. I am not a big fan of hunting. I guess everyone has their own taste. I love the picture of toys right under the deer head. Are these the same people that have been renting since you left?
Gah! Yes, it definitely look MUCH nicer when you lived there. Thankfully, if/when you guys come back, it can look that way again. :)
As for the animal's, well I'm not a fan of those either. At least not the dead kind than hang on walls. The live kind are preferable. ;)
wow, I would have picked up a bit before sending a picture off...but ah well. As for severed heads, I grew up with one in my house. It was traumatic!

Is that a mountain goat? I've seen plenty of trophy deer heads in my day (my dad's family and some in-laws like to hunt) but never a mountain goat, if indeed that's what it is. It took me awhile to recognize which room this was, it looks so different. Makes me appreciate your finesse in home decorating.
Oh Angie! The Moore home it is not! What a change from art work and chivalry! *sigh* I guess paying the rent is the important part. Nothing like a floating animal head to set the mood.
I don't know what worries me more, the dead animals on display, or the dead animals on display WITH CHILDREN'S TOYS IN THE SAME ROOM. That would have TERRIFIED me as a child. But I suppose if you are raised on carnage decor from infancy...
